Not sure if this is exactly where to post this since this is not exactly a pool equipment question, but it is about equipment for use around my pool. If this should go somewhere else, please move it to the appropriate place.

Now that I have my pool running smoothly (thanks in large part to you guys), I am thinking about having a pool party and want to get some tunes flowing. Does anyone have any advice on good speakers / audio equipment for a pool with a wooden deck? I would prefer if it would interface with my PC, since I have tens of thousands on mp3s on my PC, but I have alot of those on my Droid phone, so if it excepts external inputs, I should be fine.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I've got a regular cheapie "aiwa" stereo like this one http://moerema.tripod.com/goodies/index.album/aiwa-stereocd-system_2?i=1&s=1

I have a shed on one side of my house where the stereo its-self lives, and you can run speaker wires VERY long without much problem. The speakers are very damaged due to them not being waterproof and being outdoors, but otherwise the setup works. I use my Droid2 phone connected via the headphone jack to the stereo for streaming.

If you have someplace dry you can put a stereo, you should be able to use pretty much anything. You should get outdoor speakers up front. When I do replace my decaying speakers, I'll probably use something along the lines of these: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_107ATR4W/Polk-Audio-Atrium4-White.html?tp=188&avf=N#details-tab although that site tends to be a little expensive so I'll probably actually order them elsewhere.
