Need help just opened my inground pool and heavy rains over the winter caused alot of ground water thus "floating" my vinyl liner leaving a major wrinkle. Liner is less than 1 year old .How can i get the wrinkle out???

Hi dave, and welcome to the group!
There are a few folks on this forum who can best answer your question--pooldoc and Waste being two of them--and hopefully they'll be by soon to look at this thread. In the meantime, though, you can use the Google search feature linked in my sig to search for other posts around the forum, and you might find some helpful answers. I know in the past people have suggested bowling balls and other items to help smooth the wrinkles out.

Here's a video (a bad video -- but I couldn't find a better one) that shows how a skilled liner installer 'walks' a wrinkle.
BUT you have to mostly DRAIN the pool first, and you have to VACUUM the liner into place to keep it supported while you drain it, but I couldn't find a video.
If you don't do this correctly, you'll destroy the liner. You can NOT do it at all if the ground water level is still high.
Bottom line: this is a problem that's usually better left to those with the liner vacs and the experience.
