ok let me explain what i think may be a problem. every time i check the air pressure knob on the top of my cartridge filter housing it hisses out air for 2-3seconds each time the pump is running, no matter how many times i check/let the air out after 5 minutes or 55minutes there is the same amount of air in the cartridge. there pump basket has a clear lid and no air bubbles in there and flow is good. this is happening non-stop when the psi is @ 10 or 20 clean cartridge or dirty. Only for 2-5minutes after i release the air out of the cartridge housing and check it within 2-5minutes does no air come out and only water, after 5 minutes 2-3seconds of air always hisses out. I came to the conclusion that this is normal for my system, can anyone help me out? thanks in advance

p.s. i have a barracuda g3 but make sure all the air is out of the hoses before/during use. 12,500gallon IG diamondbrite pool, 1hp hayward maxiflo pump/ 50sq cartridge filter.

Sounds like an air leak somewhere.
