Installer is here, and I'm missing the base for my pump that attaches to the filter. I guess the reason for this is because I bought both seperately based on recommendations on here to get a larger filter with a smaller pump. It's a Hayward Power Flow Matrix 2 speed pump model SP15922S, and a Hayward s244T 300# sand filter. I just called 2 pools stores and neither has it and both think I'm crazy for trying to bundle these 2 together....

What are my options here?

I mounted my equipment on a 3'x4' Air conditioner condenser pad.

Guess I'm not sure what you mean. I have my sand filter sitting on a piece of slate and pump on separate concrete patio pavers.

I also have mine mounted on an "air conditioner" type concrete pad. You can buy preformed pads (probably needs to be purchased locally due to weight) or you can pour your own.

Here's a company that sells preformed pads, they're not super expensive: http://www.confab-precast.com/cat_air.cfm although shipping may be cost prohibitive on a 250# chunk of concrete. It'd be pretty funny to see a FedEX guy try to haul that to your doorstep :) If you have a home depot or lowes or scotty's locally they might have these in stock.

You could also pour your own so you get the perfect size/shape you want. Basically you get four 2x4's and nail them together to form the rectangle you want, then pour the concrete in and smooth the top. Here's a video: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Pour-a-Concrete-Slab/

edit: here's what mine looks like to give you an idea: http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c224/kelemvor4/th_DSC_1490.jpg (http://s28.photobucket.com/albums/c224/kelemvor4/?action=view&current=DSC_1490.jpg)

Thanks guys. I was looking at the AC pads but local stores only have the fiber ones which only have a weight capacity of 125lbs. My dad came by with some 12x12 concrete patio blocks, put 4 under the filter and 2 under the pump. I'll fill around it with crushed stone. Can't wait to get my electrical done so I can finish landscaping it. I hate to see the dirt everywhere....

Thanks for the replies. Soon I'll have SparklyBlueItis or whatever you guys call it...lol
