has anyone heard of the solarpill,it is suppose to heat the pool to 60%efficency of a solar blanket without effecting the chemistry of the water, you are suppose to put it in the skimmer basket and let it do the work,if you have heard of it what is your opinion of it.

It's a fairly new product from Smartpool.

It works along the same lines as any other liquid solar blanket. As long as you have direct sunlight to the pool for several hours per day, then it should help increase your temperature a few degrees.

Do you have a link to a retailer? I'm trying out the Solar Fish and they seem to be helping on heat loss over night to some extent. I have concerns about the kids disturbing the fish which just sit in the pool so this might be a better alternative.

SmartPool is the company who makes the pill. Their website is www.smartpool.com.
