I realize this question is early for the season, but any good ideas regarding which is a good solar cover to use? Is a solid cover better than the multiple discs? A solar blanket is the only heat source that I currently had (the last cover filled the pool up with the small plastic circle as the cover was falling apart). Sorry if this has been discussed somewhere else in the forums. I am new to the site and am still figuring everything out. Thanks for the help.

I don't know of anyone who uses the multiple discs. It is true that over time, the little blue bubbles do disintegrate and I don't think it matters too much how much you pay for the solar cover, either. I typically don't get more than 2 maybe 3 max years out of my covers. They are best at keeping heat in the pool and preventing evaporation more than heating the water although you gain a little heat. If you can pair it with a solar heater, it makes a huge difference!
If you are trying to search for other threads discussing solar covers, use the google search link in my signature below instead of the search function on the forum software and you'll have much better look at getting good search results.
