I need to replace the liner in my above ground. The decking surrounds the entire pool and is above the pool coping. do I have to remove all the decking boards in order to access the pool coping to install the new liner? Can the deck be modified to lower the decking below the coping?

I'm not knowledgeable about AG pool construction, but I can offer two bits of advice, if you want better answers: photos and brand / model info on your pool.

Send the photos to poolforum AT gmail DOT com, and I'll post them.

Yes, Ben is correct.

There are just too many different possibilities, starting with whether your liner is an overlap (like a giant garbage pail liner) or with a bead into a track. Different decking provides/restricts access, but without good pictures we cannot tell. While Ben is not an AG guy, myself and two of our moderators, Poconos and Watermom are AG owners and MAY be able to help. Plus we have a couple of pros whose judgement we trust, and a number of long-time owners as well.
