my pump stop working

Normally my pump comes up automatically
But one day it did but it was
Diferent sound
Really loud and went off
Then again
Then off
Then it smell like burn and then itry
Myself manually for 2 days but it won't turn on,
Is my pump burn??
Ihad it since the pool got build,(6-7 years) ihave a Saltpol

Most likely, it is burned.

If you know your way around a multi-meter, you can test it.

If not, you have two options:
1) Call an electrician, and have HIM test it.
2) Get a new pump and have an electrician install it.
