Hey,

first of all, I have to say that thanks to the BBB method, but even more, the common sense advice here along with the 'best guess' chart, that I can tell whether or not the deep end drain cover takes a flat head or a phillips screwdriver. Yes, My water is that clear! !

Anyway, My PH tries to creep downward as I am using up the last of the tri-chlor tabs, and recent rains (thank Heaven for that), etc. I want it to be 7.4; right now it is 7.0

Should I dump in as much borax as needed to quickly get it there or do it over a couple or three Days?

My TA is 130 last I tested.

Appreciated,

Gary

It is always better to do small doses of Borax instead of one big one. I'd add a box and see how much that moves the pH. Once it starts moving, you can go with smaller doses until you get to your target.
