Easy Touch remote with Total Control?

Just completed our in ground pool, and have the Pentair Pool Pilot system and the Total Control system. I splurged for the Easy Touch wireless remote and it's great for setting the pump system and lights, but I'm unable to get any readings on pH, chlorine, salt, etc from the Total Control. The Total Control manual says it supports remote systems, but I can't get it to work. I'm hoping it's just a setting, but I fear they are incompatible. Any ideas?
