Today I woke up to my Jandy PDA telling me to "Check Aqua pure", "General Fault", and my salt level reading is about 500 PPM lower than it was yesterday. After googling the problem to see what to do, the general steps to do is to find the 3 digit error code and troubleshoot from there. I am not sure how to attain this code! My system Consists of a Aqua link RS power center, and the Jandy PDA. I do not have a separate box to control the SWCG, i control everything with the PDA.

I have tried to go through the PDA and see if there is a menu to read the code but could not find anything. Is there something i am missing? How do i find out the 3 digit code?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Looks like it's on the unit itself ...

http://www.mariespoolstore.com/Website%20Files/Salt%20Cell%20Manuals/Jandy%20AquaPure.pdf

"Service and Service Code The SERVICE indicator will turn on whenever the AquaPure detects a
problem that requires attention. The SERVICE indicator is accompanied
by a service code displayed on the front panel, displayed as a 3 digit
code. The service code(s) are displayed twice per minute with an audible
alarm"

thanks for your help, but i do not have a control panel like in the link you posted. after a lot of googling i ended up finding what i needed, i have the setup like this..

http://www.aquapool.com/ProductPDFs/Jandy_PureLink_Manual.pdf

the actual aquapure panel is hidden behind the main button control and you have to unscrew the front panel to get to it. It even had big letters "remove these screws to access chlorine generator panel" of all the times i have opened that control panel i never actually looked at that bit of writting. oh well.

Anyways, the code is 121. low current to cell and is caused by a bad cable that powers the cell or the cell it self. i put a volt meter up to the prongs where it plugs in and got a reading of 32 volts. from this link...

http://www.pleasurepoolsno.com/wp-content/themes/pleasurepool_latest/pdf/AquaPure%20and%20PureLink%20Troubleshooting%20Manu al.pdf

it tells that the reading should be between 22-28 volts. i also removed and inspected the cell, there was hardly any built up as i acid washed it a little over a month ago. i have yet to check all the voltages that the previous link gives because i dont want to tear apart the whole power center box to get to the required board to check for voltages.

This seems to be an intermittent problem as after i posted this 4 days, the next day there was no fault warning and the system was running normal. This morning the fault code reappeared, then by mid afternoon the fault code was gone and the system was and still is running normal. Im thinking this is just a sign of the cell starting to go out. Any one have any ideas??

Thanks, Jeremy
