I bought a home last year that was vacant for a couple of years prior to that. The IG pool is vinyl with polymer walls. I'm in the process of ripping out the old liner and I noticed that one of the polymer panels in the shallow end has a crack in it near the bottom. If I push my foot against one side of it (pushing hard) I can get it to move slightly. Does anyone have any ideas on how I should go about repairing this?

Thanks,

Jeff

Hey again Jeff.

I can think of 2 choices:

1) 2 part epoxy putty (not MY first choice)

2) Bondo (or whatever they call the stuff to patch fiberglass car finishes)

You DO want to keep sharp edges from harming the liner, so even multiple pieces of duct tape would help, but it's better to seal the crack (on both sides of the wall)
