Hi there!
I'm new to pools and I just got moved into a new place that has an in-ground pool with a main pump and a polaris pump. After figuring out how to get the pumps running and reading about the polaris, I believe the polaris return port was set up wrong on the pool.
When I turn on the polaris pump (after the main pump is already running in filter mode), I can see new water pressure coming out of a port that has an eye on it, not an "open" port. This is a problem because I can't attach the polaris hose to this eyed cover. Is that standard? Is there a way to divert that return to an open port? I think I'm either missing something obvious or the seller's pool repair guy stuck an eyed return cover on the wrong port. If I have to pull out that cover and put in a female port connector thing, how difficult is that going to be?
I hope that's not too confusing. Let me know if I can provide any more information! Thank you!
