Pool Alarm

We have a 1 year old and want to do everything possible to make our pool safe. I want to purchase an intrusion alarm. I was looking at either the poolguard or pooleye models. I did a search here and most of the threads were a few years old. Anyone have an opinion on either of these or any others you have experience with?
