water changes

How often is water replaced ? I have pretty much all the same water from opening 2 years ago. I only re-plenish backwashed or evaperation , seems like chlorine/acid/time would ....... break it down..

Never has to totally be replaced. Only replenish like you said above. You never want to totally drain a pool or it can float out of the ground. If it is a vinyl pool, it can ruin the liner to totally drain it. Your water is fine.
