Hey everyone, I use a commercial pool for underwater hockey.

This pool is nice but old, it is currently tiled with 1x1 tiles.
Question one--Will using underwater epoxy allow me to glue some tiles that have come loose back in place (in water repair)

Question 2: Can one use regular thinset and grout for underwater pool tiles.
#3: Can standard glazed ceramic tiles be used successfully underwater?
#4 What would one use to repair "rotten" looking cement and or cracks underneath said tiles.

Thanks Kevin

Hi Kevin;

#1 - Yes, but in my experience it's a temporary fix.
#2 - Yes, so long as you use latex-free cement-only grout & thinset. Mfg may say no, however. You're better off with 'approved' continuous submersion formulas, though.
#3 - dunno.
#4 - remove and replace. I think ANY all cement concrete, no latex material should be OK so long as there are no "Not for continuous submersion" warnings.
