Pool is full and test results as follows:
FC: 3.5
CC: 1.0
PH: 7.2
TA: 30
CH: 20
CYA: 0

According to my read on the Pool Calc, I need:
23 oz of 6% bleach
10 oz of borax
70 oz of baking soda
40 oz of stabilizer

I've read that CH doesn't matter for a vinyl liner but Saturation index is -1.84 (suggest adding 264 oz of calcium chloride) ... if I do not adjust this do I need to adjust other goal values to compensate and get SI correct?

After this is balanced, I will add the salt and when dissolved I will turn on SWCG and learn what settings work to keep FC in range.

Thanks all for the help!
Mark

Since you have a CC reading of 1.0, I'd suggest going ahead and shocking the pool up to 10 to try and take care of anything that might be starting to grow. Since you have no CYA yet, shock it up to 10ppm. In your pool, each quart of 6% bleach will add about 2ppm of chlorine. Your other amounts to add of things are just fine, but don't add any calcium. Not needed. Stabilizer (CYA) is slow dissolving -- can take up to a week. Which method of adding it were you planning to use? For the first week or so until you get a stabilizer reading, it is going to be hard to keep any chlorine in the pool. You'll need to test and add bleach at least twice per day and 3x a day is even better if you can. If you only take it up to 2ppm, it will be gone in the blink of an eye. I'd suggest adding enough bleach each time you test to get the cl back up to 6ppm. You don't want it to drop to 0. Let us know if you have further questions. Congrats on the new pool! (BTW -- Don't add everything at once. Do the bleach and borax first and then wait a couple of hours and do the baking soda and stabilizer.)
