I purchased a Poolskim, and it connects to the return inlet. Two problems, in the instructions for installation, they show the return inlet unscrewing, mine has a face plate, which I was able to pry off. The Poolskim screws into the return inlet. Well I do not have threads to attach. There are threads inside that seem to be about an inch in diameter, so I am trying to find pvc fittings that may make this work. The bigger problem, is that I do not feel anything from either return inlet. Is there not suppose to be some pressure there? I do have valves on my pump that say return, but they are frozen. Please advise, pvc fittings and return pressure.

Welcome to the Forum!

There ought be good pressure from the returns, does the filter need to be cleaned?

There are 'bushings' that will adapt almost any size PVC pipe to another size (sometimes you need to do it in steps - i.e. from 1" to 1 1/4" to 1 1/2"). Any chance of getting us pictures of what you're dealing with? (you can send them to Ben (the admin) to get them approved and posted)

The more you can tell us about the valves, the return inlets and the filter pressure (what it is now v.s. start-up psi), the better we can help you get to a properly working pool.
