Hello all.

I have an approx. 8 year old AG pool liner that has slipped off the track a little more this past winter and I was wondering if I could receive advise.

The liner is a quality one and has not leaked on us yet, knock on wood. There has been a 1 to 2 foot section that has always been out of the track and has not given us problems. This new section, which is a lot bigger but not sagging as bad, has me concerned this year.

Do I get someone to reinstall the liner or is it time for a new one?

I have pics. How do I upload them?

Thanks.

for now, send your pictures to me (poolforum AT gmail DOT com) and I'll post them to the poolforum Picasa account, and then link them here. Be sure to include your PoolForum ID and the name of this thread.

Traffic has gone so high on over the last few weeks that -- given the way I currently have the site running -- I don't want to add to it.

I talked to the local pool guy and he said to remove the coping on the inside of the pool wall and use boiling water to make the liner soft and put the bead of the liner back in. Then put in the locking coping to secure.
