I am a few weeks away from painting our new IG poured concrete pool.
We have settled on painting it with the National Swimming Pool EHB Hi Build Epoxy pool paint in Royal Blue.
Does anyone have any experience with this paint or a picture of an actual pool in that color? I cannot find any on the web...

Using epoxy paint is not popular among builders - it's icky-picky work, that can only be done right when it's not too hot, not too cold, not too windy, not too dusty, not too wet . . . and not going to be any of those things for 2 or 3 days. Those requirements often don't fit well with a builder's work schedule. Plaster actually takes more skill, but it's far less weather dependent than epoxy.
I've done a number of large pools successfully, but most of the stories I've heard of builders doing epoxy haven't been good ones. Make sure you use someone with a good track record.
Or do it yourself. It's not hard -- you just HAVE to follow the directions.
And about the blue . . . I've done medium blue and even a dark blue pool. But unless you are trying to 'heat' your pool -- dark blue will add 4 - 8 degrees to the average pool temp -- white's usually best. When the water's right -- it's blue. And, if it's not right, blue paint won't make it look good. Over the years I've had customers convinced that I'd snuck in, when they weren't looking, and chanced the white epoxy to blue, because the pool was so blue. But really, it was just because the water was right.

PS: Epoxy paints 'chalk' as they age. Paint a pool dark and early in the season, swimmers will leave the pool with dark blue dust on the bottoms of their feet.
PPS. There are some bad epoxies out there. I don't know the brand you've picked. I do know that Kelley Tech's products are good. In the past Doheny's has sold them for less than other sources.
