Thanks for this post. I've been using a weekly maintenance dose an an algaecide that my local pool company sold me when I took over the pool maintenance for our pool, but reading in this forum I learned that all algaecides aren't the same. Thanks for this sticky post; turn out, the stuff I'm using is the "right" stuff. :-)
