I live in Houston am am looking to replaster my pool this Spring. I just got a bid which included two items that seem bogus: Nature 2 for $820 and "start and balance water" $585. I checked out Nature 2 on the Forum and that looks like a good waste of money. Is the other item something I can do myself or is it a legit item? Seems like all this would entail is dumping acid in the pool for a month or so. Also, they bid light replacement for $1200 to 1700 depending on LED or not. The replaster itself looks in the ball park for about $3000 for 22000 gal pool and spa. And coping repair was bid at 1800. Thanks
