If you use large pipe, 2.5" or 3", to minimize friction losses in the pipe, then there should be no problem at all. I used to have 1 HP pump (now I have an Intelliflo VF) and have much longer runs from the pump to the house of around 60 feet and a higher roof of 12 feet and very long runs on that roof to 12 solar panels. Unfortunately my PB used 2" pipe and this is costing me around 30% more in electricity costs than it should as a result.

Does this mean you have an AG pool? AG pumps can sometimes have a problem with lift. What is the model # of the Hayward pump?
