Help with Legend II install

I just received my Kreepy krauly/Pentair/Letro Legend II automatic pressure side cleaner (it is like the polaris 360 - no booster required) and "comes equipped to connect to a 1.5" threaded (female) dedicated return line". The only problem is my dedicated return is much smaller (either 3/4 or 1"). Does anyone have any experience as to how to connect? Sadly technical support doesn't seem to know...

Polaris makes a fitting for this. 3/4" male to 1 1/2" female, I believe it's a G-9.

I would have to think that Pentair makes one too, but i don't know the product number.

Fantastic! Thanks! I was able to find online when I added Polaris. Strangely Pentair has no such part for the Legend or Legend II that I can find anywhere. Even more strange, they do have exactly the same part listed as "pentair replacement part for Polaris Pool Cleaner" see

Their tech support knows nothing of this however...

Thanks ton - I was considering using a mallet and cold chisel to tear out the 3/4 inch fitting and repipe - which could only end badly! :)

UPDATE: I ordered the Polaris coupling (the part number is indeed G-9) and it works perfectly. Thanks much!
