I just changed from Baq this season and there was a cleaner that I used on the steps and around the pool liner to brighten it. I am assuming I cannot use the same cleaner on a chlorine pool? What does everyone use to clean with? There actually is not a dire need to do so, as there was with Baq, but would like to from time to time. thanks!

The easiest thing I know to use is a sponge with a paste made of baking soda and water. It doesn't create a chlorine demand if it gets into the water, and doesn't mess up any chemistry.

Others have suggested Magic Eraser, but I'm nervous about any of the soapy stuff getting into my pool.

There's no soap in Magic Erasers. They're made of melamine foam and work by abrasive action, much like very fine sandpaper. They should not be used on painted, polished, or easily scratched surfaces. On a pool liner, they might rub the pattern off or fade it some.

See How Stuff Works (http://www.howstuffworks.com/magic-eraser.htm).
