Hello,

Does anyone know about liquid ionizer mixed with copper. Pool store gave to me and told me to put into the pool along with my dichlor. Is suppose to be a one shot time and will keep the pool clear all summer??

I am going to follow the BBB method. I have no other chemicals in the water other than the dichlor and will switch to bleach after 1 lb as I have been advised.

I thought it was not good to have metals in your pool..

Can anyone shed some light on this.

Carrie:)

Yeah, it just copper sulfate and is just an algaecide. By calling it a liquid 'ionizer' they can charge more for it than for copper algaecide most likely

YOU DON'T WANT COPPER IN YOUR WATER! PERIOD! (And it really doesn't matter if the copper got there from an ionizer, a bottle of algaecide, a 'liquid ionizer", or throwing a whole bunch of pennies in your pool!)
